I found some old boxes of jewelry that belonged to my mother that she packed away many years ago and when I opened them up, I was shocked to see that they were full of really nice pieces. Now, I am not sure who would wear any of those pieces but I do know that they are all heavy so I am considering selling gold jewelry to the local store, for scrap unless they want to give me more and try to sell the pieces.

I informed my sister all about what was in the boxes and she wants to go through them first before I start selling gold from them. I can understand where she is coming from, she has taste that is similar to what our mothers was and she might actually consider wearing some of these pieces but I will not.

I never thought that I would be selling gold jewelry that my mother wore over thirty years ago but with the price of gold and silver these days, it is crazy to let it just sit. I am going to need to split the money I get from selling gold jewelry of my mothers with my sister unless she takes so much of it, that they do not offer me crap for it.

I took both of my girls shopping yesterday at the mall and my oldest daughter found some really pretty pajamas that she just had to have. I laughed at her when she also found matching ones for her sister that were in the infant pajamas section. My oldest daughter is only five but she already has a good eye for fashion and how she spotted the same exact infant pajamas for her baby sister is beyond me.

I like to dress my girls the same but pajamas is a new one. Most of the trendy stores have those kinds of things, matching pj’s and stuff but I cannot afford them. This store is very affordable and if they start carrying more items that both of my girls can wear so that they match, it will be very nice.

When we returned from the mall, my husband was already home and he helped us carry in our shopping bags. My oldest daughter was so proud of the great find of the matching girls pajamas and the infant pajamas that she just had to show her daddy before we could even get our coats and shoes off. He told her what a great job she had done and she just smiled with pride from ear to ear.

My safety supplies provider has just let me know that they will be increasing their prices for about half of their products at the end of the month. I am planning on buying up at least four to five months of safety supplies from them for now at the lower prices and then taking my time to look for a new company with much more affordable prices. If I have a four month cushion of supplies then I can look over the other companies and compare prices, quality and service before making any decisions.

I did hear from my janitorial supplies delivery man that he heard of a good safety supplies company that is moving into the old building across from the library. I asked the janitorial supplies delivery man if it was a chain store, or a locally owned store. He did not know the answer to that question but told me that he would find out and then get back to me very soon.

I was looking forward to hearing back from the delivery man but in the meantime I had to figure up how much of each of the safety supplies we would need for the rest of the time till we found a new company to buy from.

I took a poll online about how well we market our site and failed miserably. I thought that since we paid our web designers a set amount each month, that they were doing everything possible to get our site to rank better but apparently there are things that I have never heard of, there for do not do or pay for.

I have always wanted to work in one of those fancy galleries and work with antique and coin collectors to see what makes them tick. My great grandfather used to collect coins and then he would sell silver dollars to people in his later years for ten times their worth just because he could. I have never added any additional coins to what I was given but always wonder why I am not looking to. This is why I want to ask what makes the collectors keep collecting. My plan to sell silver coins at an auction will only come true if I can find a good auction house that will give me an appraisal before I sign the papers. Anything under five thousand dollars will not be enough for me to go through with the sale.

I have been interested in custom web design every since I took a class in high school that only touched on the many areas of it. I signed up for a few summer classes on custom web design at the local community college and found that I had a real knack for it and my professors noticed it too. They all told me that I should pursue a career in it and that is just what I did.

I attended a very well known technical college and had a chance to intern at a very well known website design company that was located about twenty miles from school. The owner of the website design company offered me a full time job when I graduated but I knew that I would never be happy working for someone else.

I opened up my very own website design company that is doing very well I might add and love coming to work every day. I have a work study program for the local high school kids who think that they might be interested in custom web design in the future and many of them have gone on to study it in college as well.

The current state of the economy has caused many companies to look at their spending habits and consider making some changes. I know that at least five of the six businesses located in my building have cut way back on the amount of electricity they use, how much they waste and the hours they are open are becoming less and less each month.

I called this all to my staff’s attention and told them that we should look into additional ways to cut our spending, if we did not want to end up in the same boat as everyone else. She had intended on going back and purchasing the iron doors as soon as she got her end of the year bonus, but instead she was laid off from her job. She had never seen it coming and figured that she should not plan on going back since she was involved with the third set of layoffs from her company and no one was getting called back.

She tried for six months to find a new job and in the end decided to take a position for a company that could only pay her half of what her salary used to be. She talked about never being able to afford the iron doors to match the iron gate, and I knew that if I got them for her, it would at least put a smile on her face for a little while. She might be angry with me for doing it but she would get over it as soon as she saw how nice the gate and the doors looked together. I cannot wait to see her face when she realizes what I have done.

I was so happy to finally have found the perfect building to open up my new coffee shop. I signed the lease two months ago and have been getting it ready ever since. My mother had always wanted me to sell my hand carved walking sticks online because she thought that everyone would just love them, as much as she did. I on the other hand thought that maybe I should just keep going to swap meets and antique dealers to sell them.

I decided to bite the bullet one day and hire a website builder to make me a simple site. He was a very smart and thorough man and explained everything that he was going to do to make it so that whenever people would look for walking sticks online, my site would be right there. I cannot believe that my eighty year old mother knew about SEO services and I did not. It just goes to show you that if you stay up with the times, you might just learn something.
