I have been saving my bonus checks that I get every six months to have new vinyl replacement windows put in my townhouse. I got it for a lot less than market value when I bought it two years ago, because the old double hung windows were not installed properly. Every time that it rains, water drips in behind the molding of the window and there is probably mold growing in there.

I should only have to wait on one more bonus check and then I can call the contractor that gave me the estimate for removing the old double hung windows, mitigating the mold, and putting in the new vinyl replacement windows. I am thinking that the reason for my always feeling tired, is because I have been breathing mold for two years.

My parents had wanted to pay for the vinyl replacement windows when I first bought the house, but I told them that they had already helped me enough by putting up the down payment for my mortgage. I needed to handle the double hung windows and mold on my own. It was part of being a homeowner is what I told them.

All of my friends think that I am an idiot for not letting my parents help me with the problem but I knew that if I just buckled down on my spending, that I would have it taken care of in no time. I did not realize that no time meant two years later.
