Going Away Present
My brother will be graduating soon. He’ll be off to college halfway across the country. We will surely miss the afternoons and weekends where his friends hang out and party at our house. I treated them all as if they were my little brothers too although we were only a year apart.
I told mom that we could hold a going away party for them because most of them would be moving out of the city to go to college. My mom was amenable to the idea so I immediately went off to plan the party. I was thinking of something to give as a present. I do not want to waste my money on something that would not be used so I searched for something practical to give them. I thought about giving them personalized t shirts for they would be able to use it even in school. I searched online for the shirts to give them and I found this site that sells shirts with hilarious designs and quotes. I immediately checked their delivery schedule to see if they could deliver the shirts in time for the party which was a week from now. I ordered several designs thinking I’d let them choose their own come party day.
The funny t shirts arrived a few days before the party which was a relief for I was worried a bit if they could really deliver. They were so happy with the shirts that they wore it during the party.
